Late afternoon session at Hove. Tide just back enough to get a gap in the shorebreak. Waves in the chest high region, wind from the side. Rigged 5.5m and it was just about right. Underpowered now and again. It wasnt fully breaking out there, but cleanlines of swell were coming in and steepening up. Had some lovely DTL, many turns on a few set waves, lots of smaller waves. I think the slightly wind blown angle of the swell was helping it stay open down the line. Swell was dwindling by 4:30, but still small lines out there. Nice.
